Last weekend Miss Squill and I got to go to "Record Store Day" at our local Easy Street Records to enjoy a some live music. It was such a beautiful day! We walked in the sun got coffee and heard some country music.
Oh and the really good news was that I got to wear my new Free People slip dress situation! I am a pretty big nerd I realize ;) It was really one of the best weekends I have had in a very long time!

Northwest Grunge
I'm taking my Northwest roots to a whole new level today.... Some may hate the thermal long underwear I am sporting today, but all I have to say is that I am so comfortable it should be a crime! I have been working the 5am till 2pm (plus lots of at home work) for the past month and a half. Needless to say waking up at 3am every morning takes a toll on ones fashion choices. Just saying....
But I sort of feel like if you are going to be wearing thermal long underwear, a Nirvana tee is the perfect thing to pair them with. Also you will notice my creepy cat lurking around in the background like a loon.....

Seeing Through Yellow Lenses
Yesterday the weather was so pleasant that I just had to stroll down to my favorite local bar. I took the back way because the sidewalks around my house get full of family madness when it's nice out. They make it close to impossible to navigate even a few blocks.... Mildly annoying to say the least....
Luckily the back allies around my house are actually kind of pretty. I wore one of the only pink items of clothing I own, this super cozy knit maxi skirt. I also wore my yellow sunglasses, for some reason everything just look better looking through these babies.... Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend :)
