Getting High

There is not a lot in life that I love more than a pair of high waisted jeans. I mean come on, "Mom's going to love those 10" of zipper!" as someone once told me. I snagged this amazing pair of high rise Wrangler jeans at the old thrift store years ago and just couldn't help but hack them off into shorts. They hit my hips so perfect I would wear them everyday, but alas they push on the bladder making me have to pee like every 5 minutes. Somedays it's just worth it....

These shorts just make my day.... I wore them with an old tee my Mom gave me and some black tights as it is still only in the 60's here in the great Northwest :( Hope the rest of you are enjoying the heat!

Feeling Blue

I have been having a bit of a sad week.... Things are starting to look up but they started shaky. On the glass is half full bit I got to wear the other top that I traded for at the old Buffalo Exchange last Saturday. It's this beautiful scarf print button down, and for $8 or a fair trade in my case, who could say no. Well Obviously not me. I wore it tied up with my favorite pair of wide leg high waisted jeans and some heeled rodeo boots.

I may only have a few years left to wear short tops so I figured I would go with it. I also don't usually wear a navy blue anything but hey it just felt right.... Anyway lovelies hope the rest of you are having a good week ;)

Monday Funday?

Mondays are always my least favorite day of the week. It's hard for a Monday to turn out well, unless its a long weekend. However this Monday was not so bad. Work was normal but after work is when things got fun..... I got to meet up with my pal D. She is just the cutest thing you have ever seen.... Unfortunately I do not have a photo of her. But I can share what I wore.... Not as exciting I realize.

But what are you going to do.... I think the tequila we had might have tipped the scales to fun ;)

Back from the wreck...

I have been gone a long time and am quite sorry. I have been having a sorted personal life situation and moved into my own place. It also took weeks to get my internet hooked back up. But enough of all the excuses... I have had a very pleasant weekend and thought now that I'm settled it's time to get back online. I had to sell clothes yesterday to get some cash to tide me over till payday, but me being the clothes hoarder that I am had to trade for a few new items to take back home with me. I got this striped denim vest for a steal and just had to wear it right away.

                            This is our beautiful pal Alex, she has the cutest hair on earth.

Good thing my pal Squill was having a BBQ so I had somewhere to wear it to. Squill and B-Rock (her man) have a beautiful roof top deck that is the perfect place on a Summer evening. It was quite nice to see pals and have some cocktails. Things are looking up ;)
