A couple of months ago at my day job we got in a whole bunch of Mink Pink product. I was so excited I danced about like a fool for several minutes. We only got in about a size run in each style which is scary because I always get nervous that my size will sell before I can buy it. One of the items I had my eye on was this beautiful long pink maxi skirt. It's called the "Great Expectation Skirt" and it couldn't be more perfect.
There is yoking at the top and buttons all the way up the front. Plus it has small belt loops along the top. I slid on my high waisted leggings underneath since it is still quite cold here. Tossed on this grey crop top that I love but have only worn once and a cropped sweater for the final layer. Perfect outfit for baking brownies :)

Drowned Rat.....
Today everything was grey, the sky, the streets, the rain, basically the whole city. I woke up late and didn't get a chance to dry my hair before I left for work. That plus being in and out of the rain all day made me feel like a drowned rat. Sulking along.....
Which is why I am photo'ing my outfit on the floor, because I have definitely looked better ;) On the bright side I got to wear this beautiful floral floor length skirt. I got it last weekend when I had to sell clothes. Why was I buying anything while I'm beyond broke you might ask? Well because the banks were already closed and I had sold so many clothes at the old Buffalo Exchange they were going to have to write be a check. So in an effort to get under the cash limit they have I had to purchase something. Basically I can justify buying clothes no matter my financial state, sad but true!

Back from the wreck...
I have been gone a long time and am quite sorry. I have been having a sorted personal life situation and moved into my own place. It also took weeks to get my internet hooked back up. But enough of all the excuses... I have had a very pleasant weekend and thought now that I'm settled it's time to get back online. I had to sell clothes yesterday to get some cash to tide me over till payday, but me being the clothes hoarder that I am had to trade for a few new items to take back home with me. I got this striped denim vest for a steal and just had to wear it right away.
This is our beautiful pal Alex, she has the cutest hair on earth.
Good thing my pal Squill was having a BBQ so I had somewhere to wear it to. Squill and B-Rock (her man) have a beautiful roof top deck that is the perfect place on a Summer evening. It was quite nice to see pals and have some cocktails. Things are looking up ;)
I wore:
- Striped denim vest from Buffalo Exchange
- Vintage lace cami from my Mother
- Long black skirt from Urban Outfitters
- The usual pile of jewels and gems

Just Another Day.....
Another day, another dollar. I was feeling quite 90's today so I pulled out the old lace up black boots, a floral skirt, and a muscle tee.....
I added the mixed leather brown belt last, just to hold the whole thing together. I also have to add that I freaking love this Scorpions tee, a good pal of my got it for me and I just can't get enough of it.....

Seeing Through Yellow Lenses
Yesterday the weather was so pleasant that I just had to stroll down to my favorite local bar. I took the back way because the sidewalks around my house get full of family madness when it's nice out. They make it close to impossible to navigate even a few blocks.... Mildly annoying to say the least....
Luckily the back allies around my house are actually kind of pretty. I wore one of the only pink items of clothing I own, this super cozy knit maxi skirt. I also wore my yellow sunglasses, for some reason everything just look better looking through these babies.... Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend :)
